WEATHER WARNING: MOTORISTS TOLD TO STAY AWAY FROM DONEGAL TOWN QUAY

first_imgThe tourist office in Donegal Town three weeks ago Pic by Rory O’Donnell.Donegal County Council is once again urging members of the public to take extra care this weekend with extreme weather conditions forecasted for the next few days – and warned motorists to avoid the quay in Donegal Town.There is potential for high coastal flood risks due to very high spring tides, high waves, low pressure and onshore winds.A yellow alert is in place for today – with an orange alert for Saturday and Sunday. Members of the public are being asked to exercise caution particularly in areas adjacent to the coastline and areas which are susceptible to coastal flooding.  In particular we are urging people to stay away from seawalls and coastal areas during high seas and high tides.In Donegal Town, Donegal County Council is asking members of the public not to leave their cars parked in the Quay car park over the weekend.  The Council will be closing this car park from Friday evening and it is likely to remain closed for the rest of the weekend.Sandbags will be made available to the public on a needs basis from the Councils depots throughout the county.  You can also contact the Council during business hours at 074 91 53900.The Council will continue to monitor conditions and staff are on standby over the weekend to respond to emergency call outs. first_imgPrepared by FFWPU Benin SeminarsAs part of the Divine Principle Seminars and the Blessing for the Religious Leaders, we organized a tour in northern Benin for 7 days.Our team, who led this education and blessing tour, included the Special Envoy to Benin, National Leader and his wife, and Director of the Heavenly Tribal Messiah Department in Benin.We held two seminars on November 6 and 9, 2018, in Kandi, with 86 participants and in Parakou, with 137 participants. Total of 223 participants from various religious denominations listen to Divine Principle lectures.Participants were moved very much. These seminars confirm that all barriers are broken and we are living in a new era where all spheres can be quickly connected to True Parents.Blessing CeremoniesDuring the tour in the north of the country, there were two Blessings ceremony for the Religious Leaders: in Kandi with 09 couples on November 10, 2018 and in Parakou with 22 couples on November 11, 2018. A total of 31 Religious Leaders with their wives received the blessing of marriage from True Parents.Participants were happy to take part in this event and were committed to supporting the Blessing expansion movement.last_img read more
