Arnie Isberg tournament raises over $19,000 for Hospital Foundation

first_imgTAYLOR, B.C. – A weekend softball tournament in Taylor has raised over $19,000 towards the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation’s Cancer Diagnostic and Treatment Fund.This year saw the largest showing in the tournament’s five-year history, with 24 teams in competition split up into three divisions. In the finals on Sunday afternoon, D. Crew ended up taking the title in the A Division against McGlovin, Victorious Secret did, in fact, end up victorious in the B Division, while B&C Rail took the C Division title.Hospital foundation spokesperson Jessica Kalman says that organisers nearly doubled their $10,000 goal, raising a total of over $19,000.
