Last year’s Moto X4 couldn’t exactly make a name for itself in the premium smartphone space, despite sporting a premium glass body and fairly powerful specifications. Since this premium segment is plainly dominated by the likes of Vivo and Oppo throwing in modern features, Motorola is going ahead with an all-new smartphone in this space – the Moto Z4 Play. There has been a sea of leaks and rumours in the recent times, and now 91Mobiles comes up with new information about the device. The Z4 Play has leaked in photos and some key specifications regarding the device have been out in the air now. The Moto Z4 is a stylish smartphone to behold from the leaked renders of the device. From the photos, the Z4 Play vastly resembles the previous Moto Z series smartphones, especially from the rear. There’s a premium glass rear panel with magnetic Pogo pins to strap-on the Moto Mods. There seems to be a single rear camera module at the back for now, but reports suggest that Moto will use a 48-megapixel camera for the rear. Unlike the current crop of smartphones with 48-megapixel cameras from Samsung or Sony, the Moto Z4 Play is expected to use the Q Technology S5KGM1SP sensor. On the front, the phone sheds bezels massively when compared to the Z2 Play. There’s a waterdrop notched display with extremely thin bezels all around. The notch is expected to house a 16-megapixel front camera. The display is rumoured to sport an in-display fingerprint sensor, which suggests that Motorola could opt for a Super AMOLED panel.advertisementUnderneath, the Moto Z4 Play is expected to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset paired with 4GB or 6GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB storage. The device will be powered by a 3600mAh battery, which should make it last for at least a day. As usual with all Motorola phones, the Z4 Play will run on a stock Android 9 Pie interface out-of-the-box.While there’s no hinting of the prices, the Moto Z series has always been aimed at premium smartphone seekers. With all the expected specifications, Motorola could price it against the likes of OnePlus 6T and Honor View 20.ALSO READ | Moto G7, G7 Play, G7 Power and G7 Plus design leaked, some get waterdrop notchALSO READ | Moto G6 review: Best looking phone under Rs 15,000ALSO READ | Moto G7 Plus full specs spotted on TENAA ahead of February 7 launchGet real-time alerts and all the news on your phone with the all-new India Today app. Download from Post your comment Do You Like This Story? GFS gets mine haul truck LNG conversion deal in Wyoming

first_imgGFS Corp, a global leader in alternative fuel solutions for heavy-duty diesel engines, has announced that it has entered into an agreement with Alpha Coal West, a subsidiary of Alpha Natural Resources, to convert three Caterpillar 793 (240 t) mine haul trucks to liquid natural gas (LNG) operation. The converted trucks will be operated at Alpha’s Belle Ayr Coal Mine outside Gillette, Wyoming and will be utilised in both overburden and coal haul service.GFS will be converting the trucks onsite using a proprietary and fully integrated Bi-Fuel Solution that includes on-board LNG storage and engine controls. After conversion, the mine haul trucks will operate using 50% to 70% LNG for most operating modes. The trucks will retain the ability to operate on 100% diesel fuel if required. Under the terms of the agreement, all three LNG-powered mine haul trucks are scheduled to be operational in early 2012. “We look forward to working with Alpha Natural Resources, one of the world’s leading coal companies, to assist them in finding new ways to improve both the environment and the bottom line,” said Jason Green, President, GFS Corp, adding “Alpha Natural Resources is a company that is committed to sustainable operations and we are very pleased to have this opportunity to work alongside a proven innovator in the mining industry.”The Gaseous Fuel System (GFS) enables operators of diesel vehicles to substantially reduce operational costs and lower emissions by substituting diesel fuel with lower cost, cleaner burning natural gas. The GFS is comprised of patented and proprietary technologies that allow diesel engines to safely operate on gas percentages ranging from 50% to 70% of the total fuel requirement. Engines converted to Gaseous Fuel operation exhibit diesel-like performance in such critical areas as power, response and efficiency. A key feature of the GFS is its ability to switch fuel modes without interruption in vehicle operation. Conversion to Gaseous Fuel operation does not require modification of the engine and can typically be completed in a matter of hours. The GFS is compatible with both compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquid natural gas (LNG) fuel storage systems.last_img read more
